How to Replace Windshield Wiper Blades on Maruti Suzuki Celerio

What you need before starting
- Replacement Wiper Blades: Original Maruti Suzuki Genuine Parts (Left/Passenger side blade and Right/Driver side blade)
- Tools: No tools required (hand-operated push-tab J-hook system)

Lift the wiper arm away from the windshield
Raise the wiper arm off the glass until it locks into a vertical standing position away from the windshield.
Remove the old left (passenger side) wiper blade
Locate the small locking tab/button on the underside of the wiper blade joint where it connects to the hook. Press down firmly on the release tab and slide the wiper blade downward toward the base of the windshield to detach it from the J-hook.
Install the new left wiper blade
Align the new wiper blade module with the metal J-hook on the wiper arm. Slide the new blade upward into the hook assembly until you hear a distinct "click" sound, confirming it is locked securely.
Remove the old right (driver side) wiper blade
Lift the driver side wiper arm. Press down on the release tab at the center connector joint and pull the old blade downward to unhook it from the metal wiper arm.
Install the new right wiper blade
Slide the new driver side wiper blade into the metal J-hook of the wiper arm, pushing firmly upward until it clicks into its locked position.
Test the replacement blades
Lower both wiper arms carefully back onto the windshield. Turn on the ignition, activate the windshield washer spray, and run the wipers to verify smooth, even wiping without streaking.
If something does not work
Wiper blade does not detach: Make sure you are pressing down fully on the small plastic release tab beneath the connector before pulling the blade down toward the hood.
New blade slips off during operation: Ensure you slide the replacement blade all the way up into the J-hook until you hear a clear click sound indicating the lock mechanism has engaged.
Streaking or uneven wiping: Check that the plastic protective cover (if present on the new rubber strip) has been removed, and ensure no grit or debris is trapped under the new rubber edge.
