How to Install Windows 10 on Micromax Canvas Tab P295

What you need before starting
- Target Device: Micromax Canvas Tab P295
- Primary USB Flash Drive: 8 GB (or larger) USB 2.0/3.0 flash drive for the Windows firmware setup
- Secondary USB Flash Drive (If currently running Android): USB drive with Android OS setup (used to wipe existing Android partitions)
- OTG Connectivity: Powered USB OTG Hub, USB Keyboard, and USB Mouse
- Firmware Package: Official Micromax P295 Windows 10 Factory Firmware zip file (~4.23 GB, downloaded from gimmerom.com)

Download the stock Windows firmware
Visit gimmerom.com, select Micromax as the brand and navigate to the P295 model page. Download the official Micromax P295 Windows factory firmware package (~4.23 GB).
Prepare the USB installer drive
Extract the main downloaded firmware zip file on your PC. Inside, locate the nested OS files folder containing the full factory setup. Format your 8 GB+ USB flash drive to FAT32 and copy all extracted installation folders and files directly to the root of the USB drive.
Clear existing Android OS partitions (if applicable)
If the tablet currently runs Android, plug the OTG hub with your keyboard, mouse, and secondary Android installer drive into the tablet. Boot into the Android setup menu and delete all existing internal eMMC storage partitions to wipe Android completely, leaving a clean, unpartitioned internal drive.
Connect the Windows installer drive and OTG peripherals
Connect the powered OTG hub to the Micromax P295 tablet with the prepared 8 GB Windows installer USB drive, keyboard, and mouse attached.
Boot into the setup environment
Power on the tablet while holding the boot menu key combination to enter the bootloader. Select the USB flash drive as the primary boot device to trigger the automatic factory installation script.
Complete the Windows installation process
Allow the setup script to copy system files and flash the Windows 10 image to the internal storage (this process can take up to 2.5 hours). Once finished, remove the USB drive and restart the tablet to complete the initial OOBE setup.
Verify touch and hardware drivers
Log into Windows and test tablet functionality to confirm that integrated touchscreen controls, front and rear webcams, audio drivers, and Wi-Fi operate natively without external OTG accessories.
If something does not work
Installer fails to boot from USB: Make sure the 8 GB USB flash drive is formatted to FAT32 and that all extracted firmware files sit directly on the root directory of the drive.
Tablet gets stuck on Android bootloader: Wipe all eMMC internal storage partitions using an Android setup tool first so the BIOS defaults directly to external USB boot.
Setup takes a very long time: Installation can take over 2 hours due to slower eMMC writing speeds and USB 2.0 bus limitations; keep the tablet plugged into power throughout the process.
