Manage Two User Accounts in Windows 10
A shared computer works much better once every person has their own account. This project sets up a second Windows 10 profile and shows how to move between them cleanly.
Why keep accounts separate
A second account keeps each person's desktop, files, browser history and settings apart, and it means one person's mess of open windows never gets in another's way.
It also lets you hand a Standard account to someone who should not be able to install software or change system settings, while you keep an Administrator account for yourself.
Local account vs. Microsoft account
You can add either kind of account. A Microsoft account syncs settings and enables features like Find My Device, while a local account stays entirely on that one PC — the video covers creating both routes.
